Restore Hair Clinics is proud to announce that we have started to offer Stem cell FUE treatments.
Following eight years of research and meticulous screening, we believe this new treatment will add a new dimension to hair loss sufferers.
The objective is to extract multi-potent stem cells from the abdomen and inject it into the scalp to act as soil to enhance uptake of transplanted grafts and also to reverse miniaturisation.
This treatment is a result of years of painstaking research combining the skills and expertise of two of the most sought after specialists in their respective fields to present what we believe is the most advanced hair restoration surgery available currently.
The procedure starts off with extraction of the stem cells from the client and priming the recipient site with the stem cells. This is followed up by Dr Reddy and his team performing manual FUE hair restoration surgery. The rest of the stem cells are injected to the recipient site.
The whole procedure is performed under local anaesthetic, is minimally invasive, totally safe and the client is in control of every element of the procedure including the hair line design. It is a day procedure and the client goes home the same day as the procedure.
We are pleased to say that the initial outcomes have been extremely positive, both in terms of graft retention and also quality of skin. We are also extremely excited as to the impact the stem cells could potentially have on the rest of the client's native hair including signs of reversal of thinning. Initial results have shown as much as 25-30% improvement in miniaturised hair follicles.
We believe the addition of stem cells to hair restoration surgery will make more clients suitable for FUE surgery and also obviate the need for any preventative medications like Propecia to preserve the client's native hair, the use of which has been a major stumbling block in convincing clients to undergo hair restoration surgery.
"Thank you for all your help and expertise. I am back in Durban South Africa. I had a good flight with a few close calls with the elderly doing their best to displace my grafts with their hand luggage. Been resting at home today. Still continuing with the saline spray every 30 minutes. I’ve now completed the 5 days of antibiotics and medrone with no sign of any infection and no sign of swelling or bruising. I’ve washed the donor area today with baby shampoo and there was no pain. Tomorrow is dayNishen in UK
